Available for hire
I am currently open to freelance work, consulting engagements, and fixed-term employment. If your project or role touches any of the following areas, I am interested in hearing from you:
- AI integration — LLM-assisted pipelines, AI-assisted MBSE, agentic workflows
- Geospatial systems & GIS development — QGIS, GDAL, spatial data pipelines, open source contributor
- BIM & Scan-to-BIM — IFC tooling, point cloud processing, NavVis, ifcopenshell
- Systems architecture & MBSE — SysML, requirements engineering, solution consulting
- Backend & data engineering — Python pipelines, REST APIs, Linux infrastructure
- Public safety & government — emergency response systems, mission-critical architecture
I work directly with clients — no agency overhead. Engagements can be project-based, advisory, embedded, or employment-based depending on what fits.

About
I work at the intersection of systems engineering, geographic information systems, and artificial intelligence. These fields share a structural concern: how complex systems behave when their parts interact, and how to make that behaviour visible, manageable, and useful.
My professional background spans two decades across these domains. I started in geospatial data — building tools for GIS and remote sensing clients, designing solution architectures with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and executing projects under PMBOK methodologies. In 2013, as the remote sensing industry moved toward smaller scales where GIS and BIM converge, I brought 3D indoor mapping to the Middle East as an early partner of NavVis GmbH, operating their first M3 scanner in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
From 2022, I have been working as a freelance educator at the Deutsches Hygiene Museum Dresden, explaining artificial intelligence, genetics, and other topics to museum visitors. That experience sharpened something I value: the ability to make complex subjects accessible without flattening them.
Today, AI is my primary focus — not as a standalone technology, but as a capability that integrates with systems engineering and geospatial work. I use AI-assisted development in my own projects, and I help organisations understand where AI fits into their existing technical workflows. The through-line across all of this is the same: modelling complex systems, making their structure explicit, and building tools that let people work with that complexity rather than against it.
I am based in Dresden, Germany.
Experience
2024–present — AI integration, MBSE consulting, geospatial software development (Systemication)
2022–present — Freelance educator at Deutsches Hygiene Museum Dresden: artificial intelligence, genetics, sensing organs, sexuality, happiness, mental health
2014–2020 — Business development in 3D scanning: Scan2BIM projects for the construction industry (largest: 2.5 million m²), 3D digitalisation for hospital facility management
2011–2020 — Systemication FZ LLC, UAE: technology consultancy specialising in GIS, remote sensing, and MBSE. NavVis M3 indoor mapping partner for the Gulf region.
